1. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting an engine request form or making a payment to AutoPartWeb.com, you agree to:

  • These Terms & Conditions,
  • Our Shipping Policy,
  • Our Warranty Policy, 
  • Our Privacy Policy, and
  • Legal Terms.
 
2. Order Process & Quotes

2.1 Request to Quote Workflow

    • Form Submission: You provide engine specs (make/model/year/VIN) via our online form.
    • Binding Quote:
      • We will call you after you submit your request and quote you the price that includes:
        • Engine price (by category: A/B/C)
        • Crating fee ($120)
        • Freight estimate
        • Declared Value Coverage options
        • Quote expires 72 hours after issuance.

Order Confirmation:

Payment constitutes acceptance of the quote.

Delivery timeline starts ONLY after payment clears.

2.2 Cancellations

    • Pre-Shipment: Cancel within 1 hour of payment for full refund. After 1 hour: $120 crating fee forfeited.
    • Post-Shipment: No cancellations.
 
3. Engine Categories & Warranties

3.1 Warranty Period Based on Mileage:

  •   Newer Products (0 – 69,999 miles): 60-day warranty.
  •   Mid-Range Mileage (70,000 – 119,999 miles): 30-day warranty.
  •   High Mileage (120,000+ miles): 14-day warranty.


3.2 Installation Requirements & Deadlines:

  •  Products A & B: Must be professionally installed.
  •  Product C: Can be self-installed.
  •  Installation Deadlines (to avoid warranty voidance): Products A & B: Must be installed within 10 days of delivery.    
  • Product C: Must be installed within 7 days of delivery. 


3.3 Returns Policy:

  • Product C (Tier C) is Final Sale: No returns or refunds are permitted for any reason.
  • (Implied: Products A & B are likely returnable, subject to standard terms). 
 
4. Shipping & Receiving

4.1 Mandatory Requirements
Address Requirements: (Conditional)

  • Residential delivery requires verified unloading capability: Either your location must have equipment (forklift/crane) OR the carrier’s truck must include a forklift.
  • Dispatch will confirm capabilities 24 hours pre-delivery: Final approval hinges on this safety verification.

4.2 Delivery & Inspection
Timeline: Allow 21 business days post-payment for delivery.

Inspection Protocol:

    • Refuse damaged crates at delivery.
    • Note damage on Bill of Lading BEFORE signing.
    • Report concealed damage via photos/video within 24h to info@autopartweb.com.

4.3 Liability Limitations

    • Default Liability: Carrier liability capped at $0.50 per pound (e.g., $150 for 300-lb engine).
    • Declared Value Coverage: Your sole protection for full engine value. We facilitate claims but assume no liability.
 
5. Core Engine Returns

5.1 Core Charge Refund

    • Deadline: Return within 30 days (Categories A/B) or 45 days (Category C).
    • Condition Requirements:
      • Category Block/Heads Mounts Fluids
      • A/B No cracks Intact Drained
      • C Cracks OK Optional Drained
      • Deductions Apply for missing parts/contamination (Core Policy).

5.2 Return Process

    • Obtain Return Authorization (RA#) from [cores@autopartweb.com].
    • Ship via freight (customer-paid) to our facility.
    • Refund issued within 5 business days post-inspection.
 
6. Payments & Fees
  • Fee Type Amount Notes
  • Crating Fee $120 (non-refundable) Applied per engine
  • Freight Charges As quoted Locked in at order confirmation
  • Declared Value Variable Required for Category A. Default: $0.50/lb coverage.
  • Core Return Shipping Customer-paid Not included in original order
 
7. Limitations of Liability

We are NOT liable for:

  • Consequential damages (e.g., vehicle downtime, towing costs).
  • Delays caused by carriers, weather, or supply chain issues.
  • Engine failure due to improper installation, abuse, or neglect.
  • Category C engines: All risks transfer to buyer upon delivery.
 
8. Dispute Resolution
  • Informal Negotiation: Notify us in writing within 30 days of issue.
  • Binding Arbitration: Governed by AAA Commercial Rules.

  • Each party bears own costs.
  • Class Action Waiver: Claims must proceed individually.
 
9. General Provisions
